I have been playing around a lot with remixing other peoples videos on Youtube. I don't know what the rules are when it comes to doing this but I notice that tons and tons of people do it. I would assume that most people don't mind at all if somebody remixes their video. Perhaps most are very happy because they get free promotion. However I wonder if you should give credit to all the people whose videos you remixed or not.
The reason why I am so interested in remixing videos is because I think it is a great way to promote something. Like in my case I promote a lot of websites so I will put the domain name inside the video. Basically I make the video as quickly as possible because time is money. I want to get it out there as fast as possible and I am shooting for quantity instead of quality. Perhaps down the road when I have more time I will concentrate on quality. Anyway I would like to hear other peoples thoughts on this matter. I am fairly new to this and I'm still trying to learn. The rules are not black-and-white but it appears to be very gray.
